In the journal article and this past Sunday morning, we looked to what Jesus gives to us in working through conflict on a more personal level, focusing upon those who have hurt us, caused us to be frustrated and not trust in what they say or do. We focused upon how easy it is for us when hurt, frustrated and not in trust with someone, to tell that to someone else in the many ways we communicate with one another, especially electronically, and how hard it is for us to go to that person when we are face to face and alone and talk with them. We focused upon the steps that Jesus gives to us, with the understanding that when we are together with that person, Jesus is also with us. Finally, we focused upon whenever we listen to someone who shares with us their hurt, frustration and lack of trust in a person, how are we encouraging and guiding them to follow what Jesus gives to us here in Matthew 18:15-20, so that their relationship can be restored in a new way with forgiveness, love, grace and peace? I shared what Jesus gives to us here in Matthew has brought forgiveness, love, grace, and an incredible peace and joy in relationships that I have experienced as a pastor and personally as a Christian. I hope and pray that all of us can share how Jesus has brought forgiveness, love, grace, peace and joy into our relationships, especially with those who need that the most!
May we live in the forgiveness, love, grace, peace and joy in what our Savior Jesus can do with our relationships with everyone!
In the Forgiveness, Love, Grace, Peace and Joy of Jesus!
